Headed down to Dallas this weekend. Any locals care to guide me to any "must see" music shops while I'm there? Buying a car Saturday, so I will spend Sunday at the Flying Saucer and any stores you care to guide me to.
Also, driving through Wichita Falls, TX Sunday afternoon. Any good stores there will certainly be grounds for a "leg stretch" break.
Thanks.

Also, my favorite shop as a kid, Bill's. It has moved from the original Richardson location to a new location at Southside on Lamar a few yrs ago. Bills Records - Dallas, Texas
Which Flying Saucer location are you headed to? |

I would buy you a brew, but I will be out of town.
As far as music stores, besides your GC's, I only know of Charley's Charley's Guitar | Only the good stuff since 1976
and GGW, which is a little out of the way, but near the airport. Grapevine Guitar Works, your online source for used guitars and quality parts and accessories. (Grapevine Guitar Works)
Anyway, have a good trip, lemme know if you have any other questions.
Where are you coming in from? |

Sorry, with all the tall buildings around last time I was there, I thought I was in downtown. Grapevine is on my way into town, so I'll definitely check that out too. Sucks you're out of town, I'd love to meet with another TBer. Thanks for the tip. I always enjoy checking out music stores that aren't GC.
Even better, I'd love to watch another TBer's show if any are playing Dallas area Saturday night?.....
Let me know. You'll at least have one in the crowd.

Unfortunately, very lame as far as the music scene etc. What kind of live music do you like? Some good bands/venues here, prob not around Addison though. |

I've only been there once during the day, so I'm not too familar with it. I'll ask the wife and see what she will want to eat. Thanks for all the help, I really appriciate it.
