Music Stores in Minneapolis

Sign in to disble this ad
I did a search and found a list of music stores in Minneapolis. It was a list of smaller, cool music stores. I plan on hitting a few of them this weekend, but was wondering which of the Guitar Centers in the area is the biggest. I want to see some lights and pro sound stuff as well as guitars. Any options for these things other than GC would be cool. Any info appreciated!

Couldn't tell you which is the largest GC.

You might want to try Metro Sound & Lighting. I've never been there in person, but I've talked with them several times over the years and I've heard (not from them) that it's the place to go.

The Edina GC may not be the biggest store, but I think they have the best selection. If you go there, ask for Jingle (Joe) if he's there. Good friend/bandmate of mine

Roseville is good too though, ask for Chu. He's awesome.

Or if you venture out to Maple Grove, check out the GC. Ask for Zack, another bandmate.

EDIT
I didn't see the part about checking out light and pro audio... definitely go to Edina and talk to Joe. He's very good with pro audio!

I looked at MSL online and it looks really cool, but they aren't open on the weekend. That sucks!

You should defintely check out Willies in St. Paul for vintage instruments - really fun.

Thanks for the replies. I do really want to see some LED lights and such and pro sound stuff too, so keep that in mind with the responses.
