I ordered a pedal from them on Wed. and it still says that it is "processing"
No tracking number or anything. Has anyone else had this problem?
Is Music123 just slow at updating or are they really slow at shipping? |

I canceled my order. They shouldn't be expecting business from me again.

The other day, I couldn't even attempt to log on. I wonder what's up? |

One thing they didn't tell me was my pedal was on backorder before I ordered it. No wonder it wasn't moving. I cancelled my order and sent it on to MusiciansFriend. The shipping is more expensive but atleast I'll get it in two days.
I don't think they're a bad company... they're updating their software so the site shows things are on backorder sooner, but I'll be waiting a couple of months before I purchase from them again. |

I have done a significant amount of business with them, and they have messed many things up.
That order of yours could show "Processing" for an eternity and they wouldn't catch it.
Then try to write to them to ask what's going on. There's a totally random algorithm applied to whether or not any human will answer.
M123 is good for one thing only - if they are absolutely, positively the only dealer carrying something. In all other cases, the best idea would be to - give your business to another company.

Back at the beginning of the year, they had a Ric 4003 JG (return) listed for a little over $900 with free shipping. Since I always wanted one, I jumped on it. After about 7 or 8 days of "Processing," "Order Approved," etc., I got an email stating that they were really sorry, but they had accidentally shipped the bass to someone else. I was pretty cheesed, but they offered me a brand new one (walnut wings, vintage tone pot option, etc.) for the same price; I would just have to wait until they got their next shipment (they said June - this was in early February). I grumbled a bit, but accepted their offer and waited for my bass to arrive.
Unknown to me, Rickenbacker had decided to drop Music123 as a dealer, since they seemed to have this nasty habit of not paying their suppliers in a timely fashion. Did Music123 inform me of this minor detail? Of course not! My order sat there on the website with a June 06 delivery date. Sometime in May (?), I found out about Ric's termination months before of their relationship with Music123, so I bought a 4003 elsewhere. I figured that I'd just leave the pending order on Music123 in hopes that they'd eventually offer me something for my trouble. June rolls around, and they send me another email saying just how sorry they were, but they had decided to terminate their relationship with Rickenbacker. They were just so sorry for the trouble, and they magnanimously decided to offer me $100 (?) if I spent over $1500 on a guitar or bass.
To add insult to injury, while I was waiting for the nonexistent Ric to show, I had ordered some flats from them on their in-house credit card. I sent the payment into them well in advance of the deadline, however they took 14 days to process the check. Of course, they were more than happy to ding me with a late fee!

I used to order off of them often for quick turnaround because they shipped from South Jersey at the time. Once they moved the warehouse over to the new place, the service went straight down the hill.
However, there is one thing. I know they're moving the warehouse. It takes time. They MAY be able to redeem themselves.

I must say this is one of THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company and the worst customer service all together. After a month of waiting for an order they decided to let us know today that the particular item "is no longer available"...shouldn't they sell stuff that actually IS AVAILABLE for the buyer? Terrible experience all over. Stay away from Music123.com and avoid yourself a headache, bad day and acid reflux. Definitely a company that does not care about your business. |

I chose them at the start because I believe their new warehouse was closer to Michigan than MusiciansFriend. |

I ordered it on 7/27 and FedEx just dropped it off. It took less than a week via FedEx ground from Indiana to Texas. I don't know why it's been taking so long for some of you guys, though I suspect it may be the warehouse it's being shipped from. |

If you ever get up to a statistically significant 5+ orders with them, please re-post here and tell us how you do. I'm guessing it won't be pretty.
