Unhappy musicians drowned out

It appears that due to recent acts of nature here in kansas, that our annual flat pickers festival (Walnut Valley Bluegrass festival,) may be canceled or not held at the fair grounds. A sad note for all musicians in the region who want to attend. A wonderful 10 inches of rain causing the river to crest is to blame. The camp grounds that have hosted the festival for 35 years was evacuated for the first time ever, just before becoming a lake.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's a shame when a gig gets cancelled for any reason, let alone an act of Nature/God...
