Had you guys not heard about this before? It's been going on for years. And I'm pretty sure that it's not the worst form of torture being used.

It depends what they're playing then yeah that would suck but if it was Nirvana then awesome. If I had to listen to one song all the time...hmmm. Either Oh The Guilt, Verse Chorus Verse, Old Age, or Come as you are. Hard to pick. Man. But otherwise yeah this is messed up.

That's not right. Artists should have the right to say "No, you're not using my stuff for this." Those who support it can do so, but any and every musician/composer has the right to say "no" and have it respected.

Hah, that's actually pretty funny when you think about it. It's unfortunate for the people who do not deserve to be there, but listening to Sesame Street all day long is pretty benign compared to just about everything else they're doing!

Aww isn't that cute.

EDIT: I posted in the wrong thread, but I did just become more of a fan of Drowning Pool.

Now if someone could score a military contract composing some repetitive, loud, obnoxious music ..that would be a pretty sweet deal. You could charge the military like, $280,000 per song and then charge royalties on top of it all.

I'm thinking something along the lines of "Directors Cut" by Fantomas.

That way, other artists wouldn't be involved and the military still gets to torture people.

Look at me, solving all the world's problems.

Google up "foiled terror plots" or something similar. Tough approaches have worked with many of these --------.

We can't treat spies, saboteurs, and terrorists like proper soldiers or even criminals. They are planning on nuking Western cities as we speak. If that ever happens, and a recent congressional study said it's damn likely, the world will change in ways we can't imagine.

I'm surprised Fall Out Boy is not on that list. If I had to listen to that for days on end, I would commit seppuku.

But what's forgotten is that many of these people are actually innocent.

This really doesn't surprise me. The same tactic was used during the Branch Davidian standoff in Waco in the early 1990's. It worked out well then; I'm sure these results will be just as stellar.
