I'm so stoked, again, so much I have to tell someone. I am just soooo happy
Just got back from my first lesson, got some homework to do and my hands feel worked, they feel good though.
How do I feel right now, just elated. It feels so good to be back into something musical, something looowwww and something FUN!
He's having me work on a couple simple things, were not using picks, but the two fingers, doing 8th notes up & down G-A-B on the E string, and then another practice with open & 5th fret just training the hands, he said work them til they hurt! lol
My new amp is just awesome, I got it Tuesday, it's the Fender Rumble 25w, it's perfect. Great little amp, sounds fantastic.
My teacher, Arnie, he's great, fun, patient and explains things so well. He was teaching my bro before his stroke, now he's doing the rehab, Arnie's teaching me now. Of course it helps that I've had prior bass clef experience but a bit of it is a refresher, it's been 20 years!
It's fun being back in music...and it's only just begun.
