re my experience with Nitro-Sound in Florida. Sure they sent the bass to me in Aust. After a more than a month & a half after me giving them the $$$$-other basses(& amps & accessories) I'd bought from the USA arrived in less than 2 weeks-they were fast to reply to my emails BEFORE I sent the $$$ thru, then....... no reply.....

. I sent MANY emails & it wasn't til I threatened to print their name over all the forums etc.. they got back to me.

.... saying all is fine-the bass is 'in the mail'.... to cut a LO-o-ong story... after many more emails & even LESS NON-replies - just enough "replies" to keep me from cancelling & asking for a refund-which-to be fair-they did offer later...-a month after I paid 'em......... they state that the bass I ordered wasn't even IN STOCK!!!

So they Offered me a different one & a cuppla goodies to sweeten the pot. When the bass finally arrived-which wasn't too long after the original stuff up-& the neck "had to be removed for shipping-according to them, it arrived with NO strings on it

-even tho there was a tag on the tuner saying G&L basses had d'addario strings as STOCK!!!!!!!


I emailed them re.......... surprise... surprise... NO RESPONSE!!!!!! The items sent to "sweeten..." was a pedal that had a battery in it that had leaked acid all over, & a cuppla OK leads. seemed AS THO They were really only interested in getting my $$$$$$$$ then worrying about something else. Seriously, they sent me 6-7 emails within an hour while I was enquiring re the original bass-that WASN'T even actually IN STOCK!!!!! & arranging to send the $$$ then none for a week, one to keep me "satisfied" for a while.... then none for another week or so, then one more to keep me quiet it seemed...-all the while the web site said the bass was sent... when it wasn't even in stock! let alone ..sent!!
The emails I got from them -"stringing me along" it seemed-were saying 'sorry we've been SO BUSY with the X-MAS period coming up etc..' so I actually found another bass they had advertised on ebay & asked a question about it-pretending I was interested in it(To see "HOW BUSY THEY ACTUALLY WERE- i.e. if they could answer this question quickly...why couldn't they answer MY emails????? ) hey answered this question VERY QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!!!

SO OBVIOUSLY they weren't too busy to answer queries that involved getting more $$$$$ !!!!!!!!! I wrote another email to 'em re this & again stating how I really didn't wanna spread any negativity on the net re them. Thats when they started to get their act together. Found out that altho their web site said my bass was SENT!!! It wasn't even in stock, would I be interested in a different one or a refund... SO after ALL this -to their credit-they DID offer a refund, & did 'sort of' sweeten the pot
