My band this summer

So I got this idea for a band that me and my 2 friends are gonna try to do this summer and its going to be either a complete disaster or amazing...First off the most vague description I can give is a 3 piece blues rock band.

But let's break it down...
VOX- soulful, simple lyrics with fuzz and light reverb and other effects

GUITAR- blues stuff, think Black Keys.

DRUMS- there will be NONE, this is either gonna make us or break us. The singer will be using some hand percussion though, like tambourines, and maybe a kick drum. I figure what's more rock mentality than saying forget drums we don't need you, I think this will be the one thing that makes us different. If we can get it right I think it will be awesome but if we don't get it perfect we'll fail hard.

BASS- this will be the foundation of the entire band, think punkish bass, that has super simple lines that drone and guitar and vox will build of me...oh I forgot the most important thing, I will be overdriven and distorted to the MAX, this will allow me to fill in voids of no drums and keep the wall of sound we want.

AS A BAND- we want to be loud! like turn it up to 57! we want to create a wall of sound that can blow your head of, put it back on and blow it off again! We'll be sound loud that even if we had drums, you could hear them. our song structure will be simple verse->chorus->verse->chorus, not intro->verse->prechorus->chorus->verse->prechorus->chorus->bridge->breakdown->chorus->chorus->outro, cause that was literally one of our songs from an old band, and Im not doing that again. And we plan on recording lo-fi, the only way you'll hear us is cassette or live. Most of all we wanna have fun!




I'm pretty pumped about getting started on it this summer, it'll be fun...So what you guys think? be kind, be honest
