Well,
I played at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas tonight in a metal band opening up for Stone Sour, at sound check the front of house mixer announced that my bass was the best sounding bass he had ever heard... Needless to say it made my day and I was very happy to hear that. In all my years of shows I have never had such a response. I was using my Wal MK III, Alembic preamp, QSC amp, and two Schroeder Cabinets... 4x12 and a 2x10x2x12 cabinet. I was so happy... It made my day!

Very cool. With that setup, I'm sure it won't be the last time you hear that.

yes, F1x, great preamp and DI.
I didn't meet Corey Taylor, after our set we weren't allowed back stage anymore, there were two other bands and it was super tight back there. Stone Sour did put on a great show, they are all great players and Corey Taylor is a great showman as well.
