For a school project, I created a documentary on Leo Fender and how is electric guitars, basses, and amplifiers changed music as we know it. There's some nice bass content in there (I originially had MUCH more on the Fender bass, but my teacher thought it was too much- figures).
The film was created in imovie.
Check it out and tell me what you think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBmUQ...e=channel_page |

I like the way you detailed their importance. Most videos would be like (eh, but they're an optional band member) |

I originally had shots of Jaco and Entwistle in there too, and talked about how they used bass guitar to change the way we look at music, but he insisted that I take it out (past failed bass player? jealousy? I'm not sure).
But yeah, the thing was a total pain in the neck to make- I don't think I'll ever use imovie again without cringing. |

One thought: Your voice-over gets walked on by some of the music. That's the way it sounded on my laptop.

| | | | At which parts, specifically? I know towards the end Under My Thumb kind of gets on top of the voice-over, but it was at the lowest volume I could possibly make it (imovie doesn't always let you get EXACT with stuff- at least in my experiences).
But thanks guys, these are the kind of responses I was lookin for. |

| | | | About the background noise- I have a MacBook that's about two years old. Basically whenever you use the thing, it gives off this horrendously loud whirring noise. Thus, when I was recording through the internal microphone, it picked up all the noise.
It does suck, and I tried to cover it up with music for the most part, but its one of those things thats just "what can ya do". | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
