Could be tendonitis. When you move your wrist, do you feel like a grinding inside your arm?

I had it for a while. Rest and anti-inflammatories.

I get that sometimes from playing fast with a pick, especially on my Warlock. My wrist rubs on the bass and starts to get a rug-burn type red mark on it and starts to hurt after a while.

Ha! Worship my reading and comprehension skills...

Yeah, my wrist rubs against my T-Bird, so I keep a wristband in my T-Bird case. I don't need it on any of my other basses. I also used to have that problem with the sharp bound edge of my Rick.
