I recently went out to dinner with my Grandfather, and gave him the two CDs of my band for christmas because he wanted them. He tells us that a new neighbor moved into his street. He said that he is in the rock and roll hall of fame. My grandpa says that he "is a producer and spends most of his time on Gospel music" and that he'll play my album for him. I'm excited that I would love to get another producers standpoint on it. Well he says his name is "Calvin something". Then he finally remembers it's Calvin Simon.
Calvin Simon. Of The Parliments. Which evolved into Parliment.
That's right.
My grandfather is neighbors with Calvin Simon of Parliment Funkadelic. And he's going to play him MY ALBUM.
