Where did he get his ideas from? Were these commissioned pieces, or did his manager give him a list of "ideas" to paint?

Takes serious skills to do that!

Most of the time he'd get a picture of what someone wanted, be it an album cover, or even a postcard, but sometimes he was free to do what he wanted

Hes retired, and doesnt have airbrushing equipment anymore so hes doing mainly acrylics on canvas. Im having him paint an original piece on my precision pickguard ill post it when I get it back

That's one thing I really missed about post-grunge music.

Another gallery. I think they did a lot of contracted builds with Jackson and B.C. Rich back in the day.

Hey see if he ever did a woman laying on the beach. A friend of mine ordered a Jackson like that some years back. Maybe your uncle did it!

That's very cool. I used to play in a band (late 80's) with a guitarist who may have sported his work.

Not a great picture, but you can more or less see it (and the lovely shape painted on it) here

He did tons of women (mostly naked lol) laying on the beach, just didn't want to get kicked off the forums. But next time I go up there ill take some more pictures, there's many many more, I was just short on time. You have a pic of it?

Talking about the gears & cogs? Thats a mim p, and its looking pretty badass so far, I powdercoated all the hardware black and im waiting on some emgs, a Mike pope preamp, and a hipshot bridge
