I work until 6 Pm and get home at 7:30PM and eat supper. Check e mail and by that time its 8:30 or 9:00 PM. Then I get ready for bed. I get up at 5:30PM every morning. So I really do not have much practice time. Except on weekends. Any suggestions on how I might squeeze some in after work.

If it takes you 1 1/2 hours to get home, can you eat while driving? Get home and practice first, then check your email.

bingo! even 10 - 15 minutes of scales is enough to keep the fingers moving. I've been known to take 5 to 10 minutes in the morning too.

I'm in the same boat. I get up at 4:30 AM, drive 100 miles to work, work 7:00AM-5:30 PM, then drive 100 miles back home; Monday through Thursday (it's nice to have three-day weekends). It's rough to find time during the week; that's for sure. I just get ready for bed at the end of the day, sit on my bed and practice for 20 or 30 minutes; just like someone would do reading a book. When I'm done, I go to sleep. No muss; no fuss.
