Don't be fooled by the name - this is no Peter, Paul, and Mary situation. I went this evening and the 3 groups I saw were the Lost Bayou Ramblers (cajun music) the Treme Brass Band from New Orleans, and Don Vappie and the Creole Jazz Seranaders. There's an enormous number and variety of performers who will be there the next 2 days and admission free. The first festival was in the 30's and this is the 68th edition. There are 6 stages spread out over several acres by the James River in downtown Richmond, beautiful and historic location. If you're interested, www.nationalfolkfestival.com
