New Banjo Day!!

Picked up a Craigslist banjo after spending a long time searching for one. I've had my eye out for deals for probably a year now, and finally got a response to an ad today. It's cheap and I don't have a clue how to play it, so it's going to be a lot of fun.

It's the newest member of my low-cost instrument family. I don't think I've spent a total of $500 for the bunch of 'em. I do have a really nice bass on the way, so the low-cost theme is going to change soon.

Apologies for the lack of picture quality.

I LOVE the banjo. I dunno why either. Just such a signature sound I guess. Give it some lovin'

I played banjo pretty seriously for a couple of years back in the early 90s.

Love the instrument. I still have a banjo, but it's a tenor (4-string) that I got as a gift from my dad a couple of years ago. It's in storage far away from me and I really haven't messed with it much yet.

Congrats!

Wish I could play, it's such a cool instrument. Congrats!
