Need advice for MWR tour of South Korea

The last time our band played for the troops in Asia,it was for the AFE. They provided PA.

This time we're doing the MWR tour. We have to provide the PA. Does anyone have advice on the most cost effective option?

Apparently there aren't decent PAs to rent there.

I'm excited. We'll mainly be playing in South Korea, but there's a chance we might play the US Embassay in Bejing a few days.

To cbass1 : It's mainly medium sized clubs in South Korea, with most being on military bases. We may get to play the US Embassy in Beijing, but they'll provide PA there.
MWR says that most bands bring the PA under the plane they fly on, but it seems we wouldn't be able to bring the level of PA we prefer.

we had to pack ours in about 10 large tuff boxes, we were relegated to a small combo pa, and two 1 15 cabs and a couple of monitors. we had to pay extra (a lot) to get it on the plane and the people at the counter were pissed when they saw us coming. Get to the airport very early !!

Hey cbass1. The AFE let us use their drums,bass amp, and PA. We brought guitars and guitar amps under the plane. We've been here about a week, and we come back home on June 2nd. It's been fun so far.

Hey Eutgard. We have today and tomorrow off in Seoul. I think we may try to go to Nakwon to look at instruments.
