Need HELP with a fender pickguard tracing!

Sign in to disble this ad
I FINALLY got the nut cut and the Fralins installed on my 1999 Fender American Deluxe 5 I had defretted by Mike Dolan (graphite re-inforced neck, regular size pups, but the slightly hot-rodded body shape) and it appears the original pickguard is now missing! When the lady of the house was questioned about said guard, it apparently may have gone out with some recycling last year. Yes, she is ashamed, and acts of contrition will be forthcoming. The real problem is I don't have a tracing for a replacement guard, and no one will touch it without an original or an outline. I guess Fender was pretty loose (please note proper usage) in the specs on these, and they changed multiple times over the short run of the series.

Anybody else own one who can trace it for me? The GAS pains are becoming a considerable issue, lol.
