I took a photo of my new bass to post it so everyone would believe me, but the jpg file is too big for the attachments here. Anyone know how to reduce it from over 1000kb to 150 or lower?

If you don't have PM, there are a number of photo editing programs that can do resizing of a picture file. I don't think MS Paint can do it, though.
Or, you can just host the picture on a wesite and post a link to it. You can get free picture hosting at www.photobucket.com |

I've got Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9, but still need to figure out what it does. (Probably have to ask one of my kids to help me!) I'll try that. Otherwise the "photobucket" sounds like an option. I'll give it a shot!

You can usually bring up the picture file...go to Image, to Stretch/Sklew and enter 40% (or so). I then resave it to another file. This usually gets it down small enough to post....at least for me. Good luck!! |

But it does also drastically reduce the picture quality...

=>post et voila | I started using photobucket.com this weekend to list an old Gibson non-pedal steel for sale on steelguitarforum.com . It was extremely easy and it works great. I'm really impressed and highly recommend it.
