Need help w/ pickguard decision!!!

Ok I need help deciding whether to keep my pearloid pick guard or get a tourtoise shell pickguard on my MIA Fender J deluxe.

Parchment/Mint Green or tortoise.

What's with all the pickguard threads?

They're PICKGUARDS! It shouldn't be much of a problem choosing a cosmetic option on your guitar.

If you "need help" with a decision like this how do you decide what underpants to wear?

Personally, I think the lighter aged cherry finish seems to favor the pearloid pickguard. I think a red tortoise guard would clash with it, and a darker tortoise guard would be too dark.
