Need information on Norwegian bass playing scene!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello friends,
I'll probably be living in Norway for a couple of years from 2011 to 12 for my degree program. At the same time I would like to learn some bass playing from a professional teacher for the first time in my life. I'm an intermediate right now and I wonder if there are any schools in Norway, Tromso to be precise that teach music non-academically. Any information on this matter would be very valuable to me and yes, I also plan to get myself a real bass this time (not Chinese replicas of Fender and all) and so would like to know how expensive buying a bass would be in Norway compared to US or UK

thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply bro. I am from Nepal, not sure if you've ever heard of it, and buying a branded bass here would cost a lot more than in any Scandinavian country. Firstly, they don't have no good stores here and directly ordering anything to get shipped here would be like paying double price for one guitar. So I guess I'll have to settle for something secondhand, hope they have a store selling that in Tromso.
