Here's the situation:
On 02/25/09, I purchased a (new) Hipshot bridge on eBay for a bass that is being built for me. The auction was a "buy it now" format, with fixed price and fixed shipping. I paid via PayPal immediately. The listing stated "10 or more available", so the assumption is that the item was in stock and ready to go, and the seller had a good feedback rating, with no reason for any concern.
Yesterday, 03/06/09, I suddenly realized....."Where the heck is my bridge?" It had been 9 days, and I had not received the shipment, nor had I received any communication from the seller whatsoever (other than an automated response that my order was being processed). I should note, the seller is in Indiana, and I'm in West Virginia, so even with the slowest of shipping times, it should only take a few days. I decided to email the seller to inquire. Here is a copy of the email that I sent via eBay:
Dear *****_*******_music
Hello,
I purchased this item on 2/25, and paid via PayPal the same day. Could you please update me on the shipping?
Thanks,
Mike
Several hours later, here is the reply that I received:
Dear mimaz,
Shipped today!
Thanks!

9 days later, and the seller had not even shipped! 9 days later, and no communication from the seller at all, until I emailed to inquire! I have to wonder what may have happened if I hadn't emailed to ask what's up!
So here's the question:
Assuming I actually receive the bridge in the next few days, in the condition described in the listing (new), what sort of feedback does this seller deserve? I'm not one to give negative feedback unless it is ENTIRELY justified, but at the same time, I feel that this seller absolutely does not deserve positive feedback of any kind.
What does TalkBass think?
