Stop ****ing with me-Lil John (Slayer sampled)

Aw Nah-Nappy Roots+Pod

Encore-Jay-Z+Lincoln Park

Aerosmith and RUN DMC-"Walk This Way"
REM and KRS-One -"Radio Song"
Metal Church and Sir-Mix-A-Lot-"Iron Man"
I think Korn and Ice Cube did something together. "Follow the Leader" maybe?

This would be a great source too:

One of the best groups to ever come out of the rap genre and they actually play real instruments(and in concert).

any ratm?
faith no more w/ boo-ya tribe is a classic
the roots can get rockish sometimes
stuck mojo is on the heavier end
cypress hill did a dual rap/rock album
snoop did a collaboration with ratm called 'bounce' i think

check out neil fallon on clutch's 'careful with that mic' for some tongue-twisting verbage

I love rock and rap separately, but man I really don't dig it too much when they're combined.

Run DMC is about the only example I can think of that I like...

See, the problem with these collaborations isn't on the hip hop side... it's the rock bands that decide to do the collabs. I'm not a fan of any of them really... their music doesn't cater to the music really. I think it would be better if MCs worked with more mellow music that they'd be more likely to sample in their own production. If you ask me NAS and Korn are musical leagues apart (just one example of many).

Anything from the albums "Snuff the Punk" or "Brown" by P.O.D., they used to be a lot heavier back then. Or ANYTHING by Body Count (Body Count was Ice T's metal band)

Whatever you do don't include Anthrax's "I'm The Man". It is an embarrassment for both genres. I can't believe that the kept playing that song live for so long.

If you can find it, look for my old friend's band, Hellified Funk Crew. It's satanic funk music. Really.

Just get the Judgement Night soundtrack. It's all rock/metal bands paired with various rappers. Slayer + Ice-T, Pearl Jam + Cypress Hill, De La Soul + Teenage Fanclub, etc.
