| Actually, what usually happens is this: Since you are outside of the 30 day return policy, which becomes 60 days with the warranty, there is an 800 number you'll have to call. You will have to answer a few questions (don't volunteer too much info), and then the warrantee company will either direct you to a repair center, or in most cases, total the guitar and cut you a check for what you paid for it. Then it's up to you what you do with the money.
Just remember that the warrantee group is essentially an insurance company. They don't know guitars. Most times I've seen them "total" the instrument and just cut you a check.
