Cool update on Neil Peart's site, on the value and importance of lessons (and Jeff Berlin encouraging Neil to take some.)

There's always something new to learn!

Fantastic story !!
Neil Peart is probably my favourite musician (that includes bass players too) and a huge example of life that I admire a lot.

I still remember when he went to rebuild his drumming technique before "Test for Echo" and he`s done it again.
In such a competitive and egoist enviroment, Neil remains as a fine example of humility.

Thanks a lot for sharing.

The same goes for the rest of the band. All three of them are among the best of the best and yet show the same level of humility. Besides being a huge fan of their music, I'm also impressed that they remain just normal guys.

Loved the article.

Yep, +1 to that. Those three guys are among the few musicians I admire as people as much as for their musical skill.

It's inspiring to read about how someone so accomplished and renowned has the humility and hunger to continue to try to improve his craft, after all these decades and countless accolades.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Neil, and Alex and Geddy as well. Great guys, great musicians, and fantastic music that is never stale and always evolving. They are honest men
