Nerves when recording?

Sign in to disble this ad
Probably much more common to get threads about nerves playing infront of people. That only happened prior to my first time on stage, from that moment on, i loved it . . .

But does anyone else get really nervous when recording?

I do, and I hate it, end up making lots of stupid mistakes, just concentrate too much on playing and end up ballsing it up!

Depends on how you record.

If you're talking about by yourself, bass into D.I. into board, then yeah, I know what you mean.

But if we're recording "live," I don't have a problem.

I thnk that 'red light freeze' happens to most everybody. Suggestion... record everything you play as practice. That way the red light becomes less obtrusive... it doesn't really take long to whip it that way...
