Hi.

Cool.

I can see that adapted as a tiny headphone amp. Or a personal IEM.

~20€ is a bit steep, but when I find one, I guess I have to buy it .

My suspicion is that it switches between three passive capacitors to pull varying amounts of different high frequencies off your signal. There's no signal amplification.

That seems likely. As such, it might be useful for padding the output amplitude of piezo pickups.

Yes, I was thinking a bit further, discarding the cap (+inductor?) net and using just the switch and the housing.

A bit like the Vox Amplug, but more compact and robust.

If it came in a TRS version you could use the switch to turn off the battery on an active bass. You could also use it as a mute switch. Lots of handy uses. I'll have to get one of these and dissect it.
