My friend has obbessive compulsive disorder and I was playing bass and she tells ne that the tuning pegs were facing in differnt directions was bothering her. I told her the bass was in tune and they have to go that way or the bass wont be in tune. But I stop playing and put the bass on the stand for a moment and she goes over to my bass and turns all the tuning pegs so they are in a row. And she knocked it totally out of tune. I told her that it knocked the bass out of tune. She says it was bothering her and that now that all the tuning pegs are even she feels better and it looks better to the eye. I can tune it later when she is gone.

you just have to put up with it and only play when your friend isn't at your place. |

She makes me wear a bib, puts a towel under my plate and a towl under my chair on the follor. If I get one crumb on the floor she begins to obsessivley clean the entire house.

But I have never played one either, may be if I had, I would be a convert, who knows.

| | | | I don't have OCD and ive actually considered trying to get the pegs in a line and have them in tune, but i gave up after the E string. it just took too much effort to keep unwinding and rewinding until it was in tune and straight |

As for the tuning pegs, use round ones. |
