New band site - info appreciated

My guitarist and I had been talking for the past couple of months. Since we usually play with the same couple of people in musicals (specifically our drummer and keyboardist), we thought it would be good to market the four of us as a "one stop rhythm section" to the local theatres in town.

He and I have heard countless times about music directors hiring people based on word of mouth; I live in a "college town," and as such, with the exception of a few regulars, the musician pool changes year to year. While not necessarily a "bad" thing, our thought was that hiring a group (that has played together for a while) would be preferable. Also, since our guitarist has been the musician contractor at a summerstock theatre for the past 14 years, he could also assist MDs not familiar with our local stock.

So, here's the tentative site. As you can see, we're trying to gear it towards the Music Director; if there's any content on here that you think would be helpful (keeping in mind that it's still under construction), please let me know.

Jon, its a nice site- well done!

Good background color thats easy on the eyes, good bio and faq sections and good contact info...

Only thing I can think of- if you have some music recorded, then a link/player (ala myspace) or even background music that visitors can check out would be cool. If not, then that might be a future consideration.

Very pro, and +1 for some background music, maybe a loop covering several genre's. Nice work, and good luck. My niece recently moved to Kalamazoo, (she's only 10), so I plan on visiting at some point. Would be nice to catch a show.

i am VERY utilitarian when it comes to websites, and i like yours. i dont like a bunch of flash garbage. from that standpoint, its a 10/10. its so easy to navigate. (note: i consider this part the most important aspect of a website.)

now for the non-compliment part of the compliment sandwich:

i dont like your "email us/contact" part. i want an email address, and not some form i have to fill out to get an email off. even if its only one thats for booking, thats cool. i just hate those stupid forms.

Thanks guys for all the compliments and suggestions.

We don't have any music per se. We do have a couple of videos of shows we've played on, that I need to make a "media" page so we can hotlink those from YouTube. Now that we've actually set the site up, we're more cognizant of getting pictures taken while in the pit (especially for when we do Evil Dead: the Musical, since they're costuming us as zombies).
