So why hasnt some brainiac in the States come up with this
Sean and Julian on guitar and bass, Dhani on lead, zak on drums and one of Paul's daughters doing backup.
give them a half dozen new songs, Beatle flavour etc....plus they can sing a few of Julians old stuff, do some Beatle covers, world tour on the road, including hitting all the old Beatle joints...the Kavern, on top of the old apple studio's, etc etc etc.... 3D movie on the whole getting it together, special guests....the stones, the who, clapton....giving them advice talking about the old days etc.

btw & imo: When people get up into the status of both being craftsmen or skilled pros, there is no "better". |

millions of bucks later | I guess this would be good for generating headlines but not much good for guaranteeing creativity and good music because people are not carbon-copies of their parents and have completely different skill sets, what with being autonomous individuals and everything. Sure, you can inherent talent and the people you mentioned above are technically musicians but do you really think this is a formula for "THE NEW BEATLES"? Do you think there could ever BE a formula for the new Beatles?

I don't know if any of you saw the interview with Julian 30 years ago but when showed his estate settlement check that Yoko signed ......I will never forget that insult. 1 freaken dollar. He had it framed above his mantel.Never the less he loves his brother to death and thats nice.He is a good boy even after the terrible father he had.Pete Shodden's book about John showed the side no one knows. That guy had alot of rage in him being a bastard and you'd think he would have been a good dad to his first son.But many times the "sins of the father are passed down from generation to generation"I guess if John never had a father to pattern after what could he give his own children?

He pointed out that for all the issues that Yoko brought, she probably saved Johns life by getting him off of the heroin. Interesting point that I don't think I'd ever seen anywhere else.
