New Music Stand

A local shop was elling off music stands and I went in and bought my first ever very own music stand. I'm looking forward to my clutter free rehearsal without thumbing through sheets spread over my amp pinned down by a bottle of water...... Bit of a dull post, but I'm just happy with my purchase!!

congratulations. my first music stand was a small wiggly hamilton music stand that would twist and shake everytime I would touch it or the music it looked like this...

later on I bought a more serious music stand...

but when I bought THIS one I forgot to get one that could TILT the music surface. oh well, maybe next time....

I've found the wire folding stands serve 2 purposes quite well-first stand, and a small stand to take on gigs.

For practicing i've got a wenger that is pretty nice. Has the pencil tray and tilt stand thing. I like it-plus it holds several books w/o falling over.

+1 on this boy... just went out and got some little extension wingie thingies that make it wider so I can spread more music out for fewer page turns when I am trying to learn something longer.... For some reason, Brown Eyed Girl is kicking my tail.

This is the music stand I just picked up about 6 months ago. Very handy because it's expandable, especially if you're in a band pit, on stage, or just for practicing at home.
