Anyone else at this Thursday night? Or catch them on any of their other recent North American dates?

What a great show. New Order can be very hit and miss live, they were on the top of their game this night.

Barney was doing his best 'drunk uncle at a wedding' dancing, while Hooky was doing all his usual rock god poses. They were filming the show, so I think that made him play up to the camera a bit more.

They played a good mix, including some Joy Division songs (Transmission, Atmosphere, She's Lost Control, Love Will Tear Us Apart) - although unfortunately nothing from Technique.

Hookys sound was massive, he played the Eccleshall all night and it just sounded great. I remember from recent bass player interview that he plays really heavy guage strings, I think his G is a .060 which still gives him a nice solid sound even while playing up high.
