New Sadowsky Gig Bag

Sign in to disble this ad
Check out the Sadowsky site. Roger has introduced a gig bag that looks very similar to the original version of the InCase Slim Bag.... IMO the best gig bag of all time!

Very nice!

Hmmmm, I just don't think I could carry around a Sadowski in a gig bag. I would rather have an armored case with proximity alert and chain it to my leg.

I agree with VRT_RONBO

But I'd use a Sadowski gig bag for a normal bass. Just to make it look like I have a Sadowski when walking around

Ha! These gig bags are really protected. I haven't used a hard case with my Fodera/MTD/Sadowsky/Celinders or whatever fancy bass I'm playing for over 20 years.

These type cases (In Case, etc.) are much closer to a hard case than they are to a cheap gig bag.

That looks like a great gig bag. I might just have to get myself one of those sometimes. just clicked the "Buy Now" for the bass one, cost:

$189.00!!!!!!!!!!! Worth it? Convince me to buy one. I have 2 Warwick Rock Bags, one single and one double (holds 2 basses). I also have a hard TKL case. Convince me to spend $190 + s/h for one of these.

Yeah, price is steep. That's why I'm asking for someone to convine me that it's worth it. I mean, I've been convinced to buy a Moody strap for around $130-$160.........After the StingRay5. Not getting anything before the StingRay5.

If that bag is as good as the Incase bags, it is worth every penny.

I have an Incase DUB bag. I often carry $5000+ worth of basses in it. It protects me basses as well as anything short of a flight case. I paid $199 + shipping for it, and it is worth every penny.

wait till one of the straps on your Rock Bag rips - it happenend to one of my students with his Spector inside. Luckily he caught the bass on the way down

The RockBag seems to be pretty sturdy. I don't abuse my gig bags. I had a $30 Musician's Friend gig bag that lasted me like 2 years. Then the strap button on the bottom started to put a whole into it, it's still useable. A friend of mine now has it and carries his Rogue around in it and the bag is now about 4 years old. And the RockBag seems to be much better quality than that Musician's Friend one.

Wow that bag does look a lot like the Incase. It does seem to be somewhat lacking on the backpack system, though.

I own a relatively new incase slimbag, and as long as the quality is the same for this sadowsky bag, I actually like it better. The sadowsky bag has some features that I like more than the incase bag, including that nice neck rest, and a double padded bottom where the bass would rest when standing verticle. The front pocket also looks considerably better too.

Same here, that'll be the "gift wrapping" that my StingRay5 will come in.
