New TC tuner

Sign in to disble this ad
Not sure if any of you have seen the new PGS video about a tuner, here. Seems mysterious I know...but...

All I know is that it's a new tuner from TC Electronic that's being introduced at NAMM this week. Looks pretty good to me. Apparently the target price is $99.

Thought some of you might be interested. I really need a tuner pedal and this one has definitely piqued my interest. Once they're released, I'll definitely try one. I've set the money aside so I'll report back when I get it (no idea how long that would be).

If it can cleanly read a strum across a BEADG bass, I'll eat my hat.

Of course my hat is made of fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

I'll share your hat if it's tasty as you make it sound...oh and if the tuner's as good as they reckon.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now

Tracking would be a main concern of mine, especially for a full strum with a B as Bongo mentioned. And I wouldn't exactly call a half step down "alternate tuning."

Nah. TC's hip to the modern true bypass hype.

Interesting.... I'd like to see how quick it is compared to other tuners.

Looks interesting, but I don't feel like I waste a lot of time tuning one string at a time.

He's a TB'er that works for a TC dealer.

Does anyone know what the pitch accuracy is? I don't know if he mentions it in the PGS video because I can't get it to work.
