Decided to use income tax refund to buy a new aerial laser. (I have 4 allready plus a couple geometric lasers, all but 1 is green laser). Haveign rather enjoyed the Omnisistem magick box green for many yrs. Most musical laser in sound active that Ive tried with kewl laser sky, tunnal, beam, etc aerial (thru the air visible) effects. I decided to get their new widebeam version. The regular version with its very narrow beams is strictly and overhead laser cause eye hits do sting and give temporary flaah blindness. So below heads is a no no if you wants dancers etc to enjoy. Lol. Like the Chauvet fatbeam laser series, the beams on this one are too wide to fully enter the eye. Thus it doesnt cause the flash blindness. And one can fire it right into, around, and thru dances without problems. (I have 3 of the chauvet fatbeam scorpion green aerial lasers).

Magick box by omnisistems brings slower moving beams, fewer beams per pattern, and a very kewl to me musical display and performance in sound active mode. Traceing odd but captivating box style abstact drawings that among other things suggest: horses, dali type weird world fences, and other stuff.

Which of course is where bass wether bass guitar, synths, and drum hits come into the picture. In sound active mode one triggers pattern changes and steps. A nifty kewl visible thru the air dance of laser beams and laser effects like sky, ocean, box tunnal etc.

I mainly do lasers for small rave and other electronica type parties and personal home entertainment when listeing to cds. But occassionally as visual laser show like aerial light organ to accompany bass guitar, synth bass, and such. Lol.

Anyone do lasers or other light show stuff to go with your band or for parties?

Couple more pics with little bit of cigg smoke added.

Lasers are my other music passion thing. Long ago used to bounce static laser beam off little mirror glued to bass cab speaker cloth which of course caused mirror to move. Some notes made slowly rotating circular shapes. But moslt just gibberish scribble. Todays lasers with their nsound active and auto and dmx or wireless handheld controller choices arer much better. Lol. Btw way green is the most visible laser color for easiest thru air visibility of beams.
