No car! So how am I getting my amp to the gig?

Sup, all.

Recently got an Ashdown Mag head off ebay, and probably going to pick up a 2x10 to go with it (for now).

But I got no car, so I'm looking for advice on a trolley or something I could use to wheel the stuff there. I've heard a lot of people do this, so what sort of thing should I look out for? The head and a 2x10 with my ME-50B aren't going to be THAT heavy, so it should be doable (I'm more worried about if/when I add a 1x15 to that) and I need something to get me in shape anyway :P

Thanks!

Check out this thread and others like it: Quality cart for urban gigging

I recommend getting a cart like this and strap your amp to it:

If you're going to a gig, presumably you're in a band? None of your band mates can offer you a lift?

Actually, it's just me and the singer that don't drive. Both guitarists and the drummer do
If possible, yeah, but I don't like people to come outta their way for me like that. And our practice studio happens to be 10 minutes walk down the road for me, so it's no trouble carting it down there
Gotta be ready to do it the manly way anyway! :P

both my bands are the same as yours. I go to gigs with either drummer, i just have to get myself to a pick up point. My rig(s) just stay at my drummers house and they bring it to the gigs for me. I have had to keep them small but it works out fine. Only thing is i have had to get two rigs but its nice as it means i have a back up.

Not much help i know. Good luck
