Im looking for a good guitarist forum for my friend so he can get learn from professionals like i am here on TB. i did a search for him and all the guitarist forums look like crap. Filled with "gOt TaBz?" and "cool riffz".. anyone find any forums they like?

Yup, you sure have. Obviously.

Check out the Seymour Duncan Forum, the Gear Page, the Les Paul Forum/The Fender Forum. Great guys, knowlegable guys... Good fun.

The BEST guitar site on the web IMO.
Totally user supported. No banner ads and all that stuff.
The Mods keep it clean, none of the stuff like you mentioned happen there.
And no kidding here, world class guitarists post on there- Guitar Player mag cover types.

And it functions just like our beloved TB.
