Noob question regarding synthesizers...

Yeah, I'm really into Death From Above 1979. So what sort of synthesizer would give me effects similar to them?

Are you looking for a keyboard? If so, this isn't the right forum. Also, DFA has a variety of sounds. Maybe you could post links to samples of the sounds you like, or at a minimum describe which parts of which songs you like? That will help us figure out what you want.

yeah. they use keys in their band too. not just bass and drums.
