well, maybe 20-25 years ago.

I'm sure we would all be impressed by your musical tastes, as well.

If you haven't seen the documentary about Anvil yet, I highly recommend it. They're a band with an interesting story! Other than that very nice lineup!

I'm a 47-year-old white male (with Swedish ancestry, to boot ) who listens to rock'n'roll (in its various forms) more than anything else. And yet this concert holds just about zero appeal for me.

Check out this year's line up for Rock am Ring. It's going to be insane. I wish I could go.

The four headliners for the 2010 festivals have been confirmed as Kiss, Rammstein, Rage Against The Machine and Muse.

Other bands include Them Crooked Vultures, Jay-Z, Slash, Dizzee Rascal, 30 Seconds to Mars, Jan Delay and Disco No. 1, Sportfreunde Stiller, Rise Against, Gossip, Cypress Hill, Motörhead, The Hives, Wolfmother, Editors, Slayer, Stone Sour, Volbeat, Tocotronic, Bullet for my Valentine, Kasabian, Airbourne, Gogol Bordello, Bad Religion, The Subways, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, A Day to Remember, Hammerfall, Heaven Shall Burn, Gallows, Die Sterne, Broilers, Ellie Goulding, Mastodon, HIM, Five Finger Death Punch, Whitechapel, You Me At Six, One Republic and Lazer. Plus more to be confirmed.

Nope. Foghat's not on that bill. You can't have a rock concert without Foghat.

What is up with all these foreign festivals getting all the great bands. What happened to America here?

That Rock Am Ring looks like a dream fest to me.

I'm surprised that Gary Moore is so high on the bill. Anyone else notice Rick Springfield?
