NPR's most imporatant recording of the decade

I am an NPR listener...mostly cause I live on a cow path without much radio choice besides Country and classic rock. But world cafe is excellent no matter where you live.

NPR has just released their most important recording of the last decade. Not necessarily the best.

Some interesting selections...and some I hadn't even heard of.

I'm rather biased towards the Arcade Fire, Decemberists, Nora Jones and In Rainbows by Radiohead as my favorite recordings of the last decade.

At least Radiohead beat the White Stripes. My vote for Kid A for number one.

I disagree with the vast majority of that list. But hey, that's what opinion and taste is all about.

None of my favorites or most importants are on there. But whatever. NPR's most important recording is NPR's most important recording. It isn't MY most important recording. I would think there'd be a place on NPR to debate the list ad-infinitum. Always a good topic to ramp-up the web traffic, I guess. :/
