NSD (New Synth Day!): Microkorg

I've always wanted to play with a Microkorg of my own. But as an avid bass gear buyer, I couldn't justify the cost... until one came up on Craigslist at a price I couldn't refuse.

What a knob-twiddler's wet dream!
This is a really cool piece of hardware. I've spent hours messing with it, barely scratching the surface of what it does and I still have no clue how it works. Not that I care, though... it's making cool noises.

And am I correct in saying that it has the capability of plugging a bass into it and utilizing its synth capabilities with a bass?

IT CURBED MY BASS GAS!!!

I thought that was impossible, but this is one of the funnest boxes of fun I've ever noodled with. Plugged it into the Line6 DL4 and just went all experimental with it...
Yeah, loving it!

Nice! I got the Akai Miniak about two weeks back and have been loving it. I'm actually looking to get a controller for it and Ableton, if anyone has any suggestions

Definitely ask Santa for one! Couldn't hurt, right?
They hold their value pretty well and if you find a good deal on a used one, you can't lose.
