NY t-bird owners

does anybody in newyork have an epiphone thunderbird?

im looking to trade a bass of mine in for an epiphone thunderbird
but i want to play one first and i cant find any music stores that have one and they all need a deposit to special order one

i have no money to leave a deposite on it and i only want to sell mybass if i like the thunderbird...

what a pickle im in..

so does any body in NY have one i can try? i dont mind coming down to meet u someplace.. i can even bring my ibanez sr405 down incase u feel like trading

The Guitar Center on 14th street has a used 05 Gibson Tbird for $1199, Im thinking of snatching it up, It plays so nice, Better than my '91. But do play it, Feel wise it is similar to the Epiphone(IMO).The sound is the big difference between the Gibby and Epi.
