I met Tony Wilson (Factory Records founder) at the Mercury Lounge in NYC early '98. He was running Factory Too at that stage, and was there for a showcase for one of his FT bands - the Space Monkeys.
He was actually really nice, bought me a beer and we had a nice 10 minute or so chat. He may well be pretentious, but he certainly seemed a genuine enough guy.

we don't have a website, we don't do it frequently enough, although I'd certainly like to change that!

i just read another thread of yours. Id deffinately like to check your Joy Division band out but i have to work at 830 the next morning. ill be checking in though for some late dates.
