Share your thoughts and/or memories regarding one of the best progressive rock bands I´ve heard of.
For starters: I once caught Mark Heron's drumstick!
Actually, it broke, he threw it across the stage and I happened to be the only one who noticed, so I strolled over there and picked it up. That doesn't sound very cool, though.

I'm in nyc for 10nights but Got a text from my drummer about this over the weekend. Absolutely gutted to hear about their split. Just at the time when I really thought they were getting a lot of attention and money thrown at them. The last album was fantastic. My personal favourite will always be everyone into position.


I know they're all off to do other projects but there'll only be one Oceansize.

ahhh im so sad about this too, saw them in Nottingham on October and they were fantastic, caught myself a Heron stick too

they will be missed so much
