October Music Calendar (includes shameless plug)

One of the features on my new music blog is a monthly calendar of important events in music history.

So... what did I miss?

There were a lot of births (including two Temptations, two Beatles' kin, a Grateful Dead, Rock and Roll, and a whole lot of Funk) and deaths (including four world class pianists, three composers, and the American Songbook) but that can't be it.

Please, tell me what I left off. I only have one premier on there, surely there's more, and no album releases. The Transistor Radio is big though...
