discuss the man and his personality/musical style
His bass players over the years (or any of his band members)
Great pictures etc
Anything Zappa! Let's have fun!
Here's one of my favorite quotes
"Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of production deadlines and dates by which bills must be paid."

And: Frank Zappa on Mankind - YouTube
Oh yes and for those of you that might be offended by scary words, go away and never click on those links.
And I find the music wonderful and every interview I've ever seen or heard is equally important.
Cheers,
Dirk

I see a lot of Frank avatars and sigs so I know there is tons of love, let's spread some of his genius around like peanut butter! Who knows, maybe it will intrigue someone to check him out for the first time!

"You can't always write a chord ugly enough to say what you want to say, so sometimes you have to rely on a giraffe filled with whipped cream."

BTW, If any devout Zappa fans out there don't have "The Real Frank Zappa Book" I highly recommend you pick it up. it's all dictated by Frank himself and talks about his childhood, influences, his music of course, parenting, legal battles, composing, some great rock stories etc. and naturally it's full of his signature hilarious, cutting, dry wit.

Scott Thunes on bass! They didn't play Suicide Chump but they did play Whipping Post, oddly enough. It did rock mightily.
