Ok, I searched and asked and it seems there hasn't been a club established for us trio bass players. The requirements are simple, just be part of a three piece band/power trio and share your experiences/insights on how you do the voodoo that you do. If you want a number feel free to take one in the order of your posts. In other words, next person that posts is #2, etc.

Sorry, I'm in the wrong thread. I guess that means I don't get a club number?
But seriously - one thing I've always wanted to do would be the real power trio thing, with a great drummer and either keys or guitar (I like both possibilities). So, I'm a little jealous. Maybe one day...?
Anyway, have fun, guys, and share the experiences.

The odd original but at this point that's not the focus. I will be #6. www.myspace.com/rebelpoetsmusic
PS the live recording of I Don't Need No Doctor on the site is right off the floor of a club so the mix isn't the greatest. Just a sample of what we do.

| | | My 3 piece band is called The Conniptions and we play party rock, classic rock, oldies, surf, 80's, and whatever else we want from the last 6 decades. A wide variety of stuff. We are from Johnstown, Pennsylvania and we have been together for 8 years and perform for about 85 shows a year. Here is our performance schedule on a regional music website. http://rockpage.net/bands/bands.php?band=theconniptions | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
