I use one of my wife's old hard shell photography cases. It fits everything I need easily. I'll try to list everything in there but I'm not in front of it at the moment. Cables (LOTS of them), tools, strings, tuner pedal, small floor light, binder/setlists, duck tape, power strip, ear plugs, pens..... I'm sure there's more but I can't think of anything else now.
I like it because I can throw it on top of my cab/rack and it's at the perfect height if I need to get anything out of it. I don't have to rummage through it with both hands since I can see everything in there all at once compared to the soft sided computer bag I was using before.
It's pretty big but its got wheels so it's fairly easy to move around. Except for stairs (our practice space is in a basement) and grass (our first gig on Monday was outdoors).

I used to put my LMII in there as well but I rack mounted it since I need a rack for the synth anyway.
For some reason I've latched onto the idea of hard cases. Bulky and cumbersome but I like the extra protection. I'm sure it's just a phase though and I'll grow out of it soon.
