oil dripping from gig bags

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently moved, and put half a dozen assorted gig bags in a closet that turned out to have a condensation problem. When I pulled the bags out, they were dripping wet. I left them in the sun for a couple of days, but three of the bags are still wet with what I assume is silicon oil for waterproofing the bags. The oil shows no sign of ever drying up. I put them in a clothes dryer, but that didn't help. How can I clean my bags?
