* If you were in the audience at a wings tribute show, would you like to hear from when they began and be able to hear songs like wildlife, mumbo, etc... to wings last performance "Last Flight" ? which included songs like arrow through me, spin it on, old siam sir ?
| I'd want to hear good songs from the first album through now. If you want to only do songs through 1979 that's fine, too. I'd love that also. Though I would head to the bar to get a drink if you played anything from "Wild Life" or "Red Rose Speedway" (other than My Love). Quote: |
*what are the chords to these songs : again and again and again , time to hide , go now (not written by Denny Laine) , getting closer , and i've had enough
| No idea. Quote: |
*which version would suite you? Live versions of song or recording versions?
| I wouldn't care. Quote: |
*Did Paul play his epiphone Casino live for spin it on? which guitars did he use for each song on Last Flight?
| No idea. Quote: |
*What would the audience like to hear? What to make it more real?
| I don't know about "The Audience" but I'd want to hear all kinds of stuff. "Silly Love Songs", "My Love", "Figure Of Eight", "Getting Closer", you name it. To "Make It More Real" a Paul style Rick or Yamaha bass would go a long way. Quote:
* Wings song people would like to hear?
Thanks!!!
| See above. Opening the show with the Venus And Mars / Rockshow medley would make a hell of a statement as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to hear anything and everything from "Band On The Run" and "Venus And Mars". Non-Album singles like "Junior's Farm" or "Hi Hi Hi" would be awesome. "Back Seat Of My Car" would be great, and "Every Night". From the newer stuff, "Figure Of Eight", "This One", "Rough Ride", lots of good songs from "Flaming Pie". "Mr Bellamy" would be cool.

Uhhhh...Jet..Jett (sp?): You know, the one with the girl's father being a Sgt Major; plus Band on the Run.... I know that those two were huge hits in my town back in the good ol' days. Yeah, they were good! Def., if you can, use "Paul's" Ric. Yamaha? Didn't know he used one of those. Well, then one of those too.
Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.
Keep your Strings Dry, soldiers.

Y'all are going to have a blast and so will the crowd. Hooboy, some of the old Wings tunes were as good as any of the best Beatles songs as far as I'm concerned, Lord Forgive me for stating that but it's what I believe.
Jet and Band on the Run... I miss the days when those were fresh and the world was flat.
Go forth and run like a jet, band. Yep, it's been a tasty nite, but I'm always this friendly
Heck, I'm ordering that thar CD if the stuff's remastered.
Have a Great Weekend.
